Like so many of you, we have spent the last several weeks learning about COVID-19 and how is impacting our world. For Office Keepers, that means understanding how it effects employees, customers and communities and then making the necessary adjustments to our work and operations.
We have one simple objective that guides us:
keeping our customers and our staff members safe.
This has been the center of our conversations every step of the way. With that in mind, we have made several adjustments in our business in response to the threat of COVID-19.
Confirmed case of COVID-19 in your building? What do to next
For those who have a confirmed case of COVID-19 in your building please let us know as soon as possible so we can take the proper precautions. A disinfectant cleaning will need to take place prior to others entering the building. We also need notify our cleaning crews prior to them entering the building to confirm they have the proper PPE. This cleaning will be performed with chemicals that are EPA approved for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.A list of the complete services that will be performed can be found here. If you are in need of this type of cleaning please contact us at 480-306-7100 for an estimate.
Extra Disinfection Cleaning
For those businesses who may have been closed, or have reduced number of staff at your building we suggest an extra disinfection cleaning prior to your staff returning to work. This will ensure your building is not only clean, but disinfected for the safety and protection of your staff.
Also, if you suspect there may be someone in your building who has been sick, we suggest to have an extra disinfection cleaning performed. This cleaning will include a disinfectant cleaning of the common areas and restrooms, including a spraying method using a device to spray all surfaces in common areas.
The chemicals we regularly use have disinfecting agents, but we want to go an extra step and use chemicals specifically designed to kill harsh viruses. These specific chemicals are EPA approved for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.
We have selected different types of disinfectants which have a specific function and which will be used in the following areas:
Meeting rooms, offices, corridors, kitchen/ break rooms, lobby and entrance areas, elevators, medical rooms, drinking fountains, restrooms, shower areas, floors and reception areas.
For more information see the attached SDS sheets for specifics.
Increase in number of services per week
Many customers have requested to have their building cleaned more often at this time. If you currently have your facility serviced 1 x, 2 x, or 3 x per week we recommend adding additional cleaning days. These extra cleanings will help make sure surfaces are being cleaned and disinfected regularly.
In addition, we recommend encouraging hand washing as often as possible. Also placing hand sanitizer at the front entrance, and sanitizing wipes near workstation and counters so that employees can keep them continuously cleaned.
